Knitted on a pair of straight needles, this King Cole pattern is great if you are new to sock knitting or don't have experience knitting in the round. Sizes include kids, ladies and men. They can be knitted long or short and ribbed or plain in self striping yarn to give a stripy effect and mix of colours
The socks come up a bit thicker than normal, making them perfect for hiking socks or wearing in wellies
